Montreal is the second-largest city in Canada and the second-largest french-speaking city in the world. Luckily, almost everyone speaks English, too.
In this city, old and new world meet in a very attractive way.
This is the Basilique Notre-Dame, completed in 1829 and one of the most beautiful churches in America.
The tower of the Olympic Stadium is the highest skew tower in the world (175m, 45° angle). It was built for the Olympic Summer Games of 1976. Unfortunately, it was not completed before 1986...
The Biodome, former olympic cycling stadium, now accommodates a small zoo.
